​Business Playbook Showcase

​Join us as we celebrate the hard work, creativity, and dedication of the Business Playbook Winter 2026 cohort. Over the past eight weeks, they have been building their businesses and developing the skills needed to turn their ideas into reality.

​The Business Playbook Showcase is a culmination of everything they have accomplished. 5 teams will take the stage to deliver a 5 minute pitch that clearly defines a real customer problem and target market, showcases their product or service, and communicates a compelling value proposition that sets them apart from existing alternatives.

​A panel of judges will provide supportive questions and feedback, followed by light refreshments and time to celebrate with family, friends, and members of the UCalgary community.

​We invite you to come cheer them on, learn about their ventures, and celebrate this milestone as they take the next step in their entrepreneurial journey.

​Itinerary:

• ​5:00 PM – 5:30 PM:  Networking / Welcome 

• ​5:30 PM: Opening and program remarks on behalf of Sanjeevani and HH Programming Team

• ​5:40 PM – 6:40 PM:  5 minute pitches, Q&A (5 minute pitch + 4 minute Q&A + 1 min transition)

• ​6:40 PM – 6:55 PM: Judge Deliberation & People’s choice voting

• ​6:55 PM – 7:05 PM: Prizing & Closing remarks

• ​7:05 PM – 7:30 PM – Network / Refreshments 

• ​7:30 PM – Depart

​Family, friends, mentors, and community supporters are welcome to attend. Please make sure you register, as capacity is limited.
