​create your own adjustable beaded necklace and learn how to design and construct a custom pendant!!! in this hands-on workshop, you will learn how to string and finish a necklace using professional techniques and build a simple pendant to serve as the centerpiece!

​instruction will cover proper assembly, secure finishing methods, and how to attach and construct a pendant. each participant will leave with a completed necklace and the foundational skills to recreate the design independently. <3

about the artist:
shaina selvaraju is a ceramics and jewelry artist based in the suburbs of philadelphia. her work explores functional form, texture, and the relationship between material and process, with a focus on creating pieces that feel both intentional and approachable. working across clay and metal, she is drawn to hands-on techniques that celebrate craftsmanship and thoughtful design. in addition to developing her own studio practice, shaina teaches ceramics and jewelry workshops for beginners and emerging makers, guiding students through foundational skills while encouraging personal expression. she is passionate about creating welcoming spaces where creativity feels accessible and tactile.
