Shipping Your Weekend Side Project with Claude
Your best side project idea is stuck in your notes app. Let's ship it.
Most of us have that idea — the tool we wish existed, the workflow we'd automate if we only knew how. This workshop is where it stops being hypothetical.
Join Megha Torpunuri for a hands-on session where you'll build a real, working AI-powered email analyzer using Claude Desktop and Cowork. Connect your Gmail, write a prompt, and walk away with something that actually tells you what needs your attention, what you're dropping, and how you really spend your time in your inbox.
But the email agent is just the starting point. Megha will share the product brainstorming frameworks, debugging tips, and builder mindset you need to take any side project from notes app to the internet — including a preview of Claude Code for turning your weekend idea into a functional web app.
A note on data: You'll be connecting real data during this workshop — granting Claude access to your actual inbox. Come with an account you're comfortable using in a group setting.
About Our Speaker
Megha Torpunuri is an ex-founder and software consultant based in San Francisco. She co-founded Whimsy, an AI-native backend for wedding and event professionals — inspired by her work as a florist at Wave Floral. She believes in the fun and personal side of software, building side projects like WedFill and Hawk Hill PR; currently she’s automating the backend of her floral design business so she can spend more time with flowers, clients, or out on her bike and getting inspired by nature. She considers Claude her engineering manager, executive assistant, and right-hand woman — all in one tool.
