ClimART Cafe: unEarthed → reRooting Exhibition
In this ClimART Cafe (art exhibition meets Climate Cafe), you’ll have the opportunity to share your emotions about climate change with a caring, concerned community, while enveloped by artwork that responds to our evolving relationship with a living planet in crisis. Art has the capacity to resonate with our deepest emotions, and this pairing with the unEarthed → reRooting exhibition offers space for reflection and imagination.
WHAT TO EXPECT: We’ll begin with a Climate Cafe in the gallery (introductions, grounding meditation, then open it up to share our climate feelings) led by Nicole Cooper, artist and exhibition curator, and Jolly Patel, team member of Climate Cafe NYC. This will be followed by a short gallery tour by curators Nicole Cooper and Danielle Warren. No previous art knowledge or Climate Cafe experience necessary. Join us!
ABOUT THE EXHIBITION: unEarthed → reRooting brings together artists from the New York Artist Circle who are responding to our environmental crisis. The exhibition explores what it means to unearth: revealing extraction’s toll, uncovering suppressed stories, discovering disrupted ecologies, reclaiming deep spiritual and biological connections. And what it means to reroot–repairing, reimagining, and reweaving our relationship with Earth and one another. This is a call for collective transformation, where new growth can take root. Curated by Nicole Cooper and Danielle Warren. On view January 11 – February 8, 2026. Gallery hours Sundays, 12–4 pm with an artist on site.
