About Event

Join us for an inspiring evening of film, dialogue, and meaningful connection as we celebrate women leading climate solutions in their communities.

The evening will begin with a screening of Force of Water, a documentary by Green Empowerment that follows two communities in Ecuador and Uganda as they build their own water systems. As the film unfolds, we see a living example of the intersection between women’s leadership and climate resilience. Following the film, we will dive into a dynamic discussion on how to support women leading climate solutions in their communities. From funding, to networks, to partnerships, what can our global community do to fuel these local leaders?

We have the following speakers lined up for our panel:

  • Megan Waters, Director of Community Engagement at the Public Interest Registry

  • Mica Miro, Engagement Director at Green Empowerment

  • Sara Eve Fuentes, Chairwoman at Women in Cleantech & Sustainability

We’ll close the night with a curated networking soiree—an opportunity to engage with fellow changemakers and amplify women’s voices shaping the future of climate action around the world.

Feel free to reach out with any questions about the event. We hope to see you there!
