Storytelling at the cinema!
Hey everyone,
You know how it is – you've got this dream of being one of those storytellers who just gets people, right?
But maybe you're thinking your skills aren't quite there yet? Or you're not sure where to even start, and could use a few pointers? Maybe you are trying to connect the dots from your own real experiences in a safe and supportive environment.
Which is the exact reason why I’m so excited to continue with my pro bono 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀, building on the successes of my previous two sessions in Kuala Lumpur (December 2025) and Singapore (January 2026).
Think of it as a super relaxed, "stories-welcome, judgment-free" kind of gathering among familiar faces and new friends... just chilling out.
No stupid stories.
No judgment, just support.
I've invited a few storytellers to share their experiences.
There will be space for anyone feeling spontaneous to jump in and share a short story too.
The whole point is for us to learn from each other and, honestly, just have some fun with it!
My big hope is that everyone leaves feeling a little bit more confident and excited about using storytelling to really connect with others. We're all human, after all, and making those genuine human connections is so important.
Truth is, every single one of us is a natural storyteller. Sometimes, we just need a friendly space and a chance to share our voice.
Just my simple way to Pay It Forward by helping you find the story only 𝙮𝙤𝙪 can tell.
