About Event

Join us to explore Future London: Technology & Transport

London’s transport system is always on the go - but what role do digital technologies play in keeping Londoners moving? From real‑time commuter data and algorithmic route planning , to the optimization unlocking and protecting key infrastructure projects and the dawn of e-bike schemes and driverless cars, the next 10 years of travel around the capital may be markedly different from the previous decade of traffic jams and stop-start projects.

Future London: Technology & Transport brings together leaders from transport, technology, policy and urban design to examine the challenges of retrofitting an old city with new technology, and explore what kind of mobility the capital is building. Through an expert-led panel discussion, we’ll look at how data‑driven decision‑making, private mobility platforms and new transport modes  are influencing the everyday experience of getting around London, and what this means for the decade ahead.

PANEL DISCUSSION

How will technology change the way we move around The City?
London’s transport system is shifting as new infrastructure, digital tools and mobility services reshape how people travel across, and beyond, the capital. With Euston’s redevelopment underway and King’s Cross St Pancras connecting London directly to Europe, the city faces a series of practical and strategic questions. How will data‑driven decision‑making influence the way the network is managed? What role will private mobility platforms play alongside public transport? How might major rail projects alter patterns of movement within the city? And what does all this mean for the everyday experience of getting around London in the decade ahead?
