Climate Hope Lab Prototype Design Jam: Table Topics Edition
Join us on Sunday, March 15, from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM in UC 442 for an interactive, hopeful evening of creativity, climate action, and community-building.
This special Table Topics Edition of our Prototype Design Jam is supported by Apathy is Boring through their Table Topics program, which encourages open, youth-led dialogue on important social issues. In partnership with OPIRG Guelph, we’re creating a space where ideas can move from meaningful conversation to tangible prototypes - all while sharing good food and community connection.

🌱 What to Expect
Throughout the evening, we’ll hear from wonderful facilitators leading two engaging, hands-on workshops designed to spark creativity and empower action:
🎨 Unashamed Creations
Led by two passionate creative facilitators, Unashamed Creations explores the importance of exercising the muscle of creativity and challenging the idea that there is such a thing as “bad art.” This workshop invites participants, wherever they are in their creative journey, to reconnect with creativity in an accessible and freeing way.
No artistic experience is needed - just curiosity and openness.
🌍 Climate Action Workshop
This interactive session focuses on transforming climate concern into meaningful, community-based action. Participants will explore tangible ways to engage in advocacy that feel authentic, realistic, and hopeful. Through guided discussion and collaborative prototyping activities, we’ll imagine and design small but powerful steps toward climate justice on campus and beyond.

Getting to the Event
Taking transit? Our event takes place at the University Centre, just steps from the campus bus terminal.
Biking? There are sheltered and non-sheltered bike racks a short walk from the University Centre.
Driving? Parking is free on weekends. We recommend parking in lot P31 due to its proximity to the University Centre.
