In it, Siegel traces how government agencies, media institutions, and tech platforms built an infrastructure to organize political power around "information dominance".
About the author: Jacob Siegel is the special features editor at Tablet Magazine and co-host of the Manifesto! podcast. A U.S. Army veteran who served as an officer in Iraq and Afghanistan, he later returned to the Middle East as a journalist. He co-edited the literary anthology Fire and Forget: Short Stories from the Long War. His writing has appeared in The New York Times, The Free Press, Politico, American Affairs, The Baffler, and The Daily Beast.
