About Peter Cleveland:
Peter Cleveland serves as Senior Vice President at TSMC, the world’s largest semiconductor foundry, where he advises the CEO and Management Committee on global strategy and policy. TSMC manufactures advanced semiconductors and maintains a market capitalization exceeding $1 trillion.
Prior to joining TSMC, Cleveland spent sixteen years in the U.S. Senate, including as Chief of Staff to Senator Dianne Feinstein and as a professional staff member on the Senate Foreign Relations and Intelligence Committees. In private legal practice, he focused on corporate finance matters.
Cleveland has chaired boards of leading trade associations, including the Information Technology Industry Council and the Trans-Atlantic Business Council. In his role at TSMC, he drives industry collaboration on semiconductor policy, IP protection, enforcement, trade, and export controls. He is a member of the New York and Washington, D.C. Bar Associations and the Council on Foreign Relations.
Cleveland holds a B.A. from Columbia University and a J.D. from Georgetown University.
