Product.ai builds AI that helps people make better purchase decisions. Labs is where we find out if we're wrong — by putting our work in front of people who'd actually know.
This is a small-room, 90-minute working session where we put our skin health research in front of people who know the category deeply, and ask you to break it. You'll challenge real claims our system believes about ingredients, ingestibles, and the boundary between what you apply and what you swallow — and tell us where the gaps are.
Not a demo. Not a focus group. You're not here to validate. You're here to pressure-test.
Your evening
The Shelf Test (~30 min) with Tess Fenn, Director of Brand Experiences & Strategic Partnerships at Product.ai Think of a skin health purchase that failed you — a serum that did nothing, a supplement with bold claims that didn't hold up, a peptide product that may or may not have been what it said it was. (You don't need to bring it, just know which one and why.) Together, we'll reverse-engineer why it failed and write the honest verdict AI should have given you before you bought it.
The Grapple (~30 min) with Jessica Ho, Product Lead at Product.ai Jess will put 2–3 unpolished claims on screen — things our system currently believes about skin-targeted ingestibles, peptide bioavailability, and delivery mechanisms. The question: does this match your lived expertise, or does it fall apart?
The Mingle (~30 min) Drinks, open conversation, and follow-ups from anything that came up in the first hour.
What you'll walk away with
An early, unfiltered look at how an AI system reasons about a category you know cold, before anyone else sees it. A room full of people who understand that "you can only absorb 20% topically" is the beginning of the conversation, not the end. And the rare satisfaction of being asked to poke holes instead of nod along.
What to bring
A disappointing product in mind — topical or ingestible — and a willingness to disagree with us. The whole point is that your expertise catches what our research missed.
