winton glass workshop morning class

​learn to make your own small stained glass piece! this 3.5 hour intro experience will walk you through all of the steps of cutting and shaping glass, and soldering them together with assistance from a skilled artist in a small group setting. with a choice between a cactus and a sunset, you’ll leave with your own 5-6 piece creation! :-)

​about winton glass: winton glass is a queer owned stained glass studio located in south philly. it takes its name from erica’s south philly home studio on winton street. she’s been creating since childhood, later studying at tyler school of art, where she earned a BFA in graphic design and illustration. alongside “day jobs” and freelance gigs in digital illustration and portraiture, she kept experimenting with different mediums. everything shifted after her first tiffany-style stained glass class where she fell in love with the process. from there, she dove into learning technique, connecting with glass artists across the tristate, and developing her love for custom stained glass panels and pet portrait commissions.
