This session is for anyone who already understands the basics to implement into your personal life, your work, your community, or your advocacy.
We’ll explore the circular economy through a more nuanced, systems-level lens, including:
How waste is created upstream long before it reaches our bins
Why individual behavior matters, but can’t be separated from corporate and policy responsibility
The Five Rs as a practical framework for auditing waste and identifying leverage points (refuse, reduce, reuse, repurpose, recycle)
How to think critically about “recycling” culture, greenwashing, and false solutions
Where circularity intersects with environmental justice, labor, and extractive systems
