Climate Salon: Inspiring Generations of Climate Practitioners
Changes to our climate are no less impactful whether you’re in elementary school or mid-career. While many climate conversations focus on connecting today’s practitioners, youth are a critical voice to add to the discussion. This starts with education, continues into workforce development pathways and, beyond.
Climate Salon, SubjectToClimate, and Boston Green Academy are teaming up to host an event tailored to students, educators, parents of students, and practitioners who are looking to build the next generation of talent. At this Salon, we’ll aim to tackle questions such as:
How can we make it easier to incorporate climate material into classroom discussions?
How do you, as youth leaders, want to engage in climate initiatives at the community level? How can we create pathways to do so?
What role can ecosystem partners – like accelerators, universities, or even state agencies – play in bringing solutions to light for high schoolers?
What climate-related initiatives are parents working on in their day jobs that could use fresh ideas from students?
We hope to see you there!
