[Webinar] Inspiration Valley - Mario Ferretti

​​For the upcoming webinar organized in collaboration between Silicon Valley Study Tour and Lead The Future Mentorship, Mario Ferretti will share his life as a Co-Founder & Chief Strategy Officer @ Wayla.

​Mario started his career in Milan, studying Economics and Social Sciences at Bocconi University.

​During this time, he serves as a student representative for his course, and manages to secure a spot at the LSE Summer School to deepen his knowledge in International Relations.

​After this experience, he decides to stay in Bocconi and joins the MSc in Economics and Management of Innovation and Technology.

​During his MSc, Mario joins the Business Development team at Nibol, an innovative company providing companies an easy way for their employees to work in an hybrid organization, putting together office management systems with bookable workspaces.

​After his graduation, he joins Worldpay, one of the leading companies for payment systems, allowing business of all sizes to simplify checkouts and gain insights from them. Specifically, Mario worked as a Project Manager for the EMEA Enterprise Business Development team.

​At the end of 2023 Mario and four other friends start working on a bold idea: revolutionizing how urban transport is seen and used in Italy. Specifically, they wanted to fill the gap left by the public offer, specifically during night hours, allowing multiple people to share a ride to lower costs.

​The first service starts in October 2024 in Milan, and in less then a year expands to the whole province. The combination of environmental sustainability and lower costs has enabled this company to raise €2M in equity and debt financing and expand its vehicle fleet from 1 to 12 vans.
