TASK Party!

​TASK Parties are a simple structure for immersive creative play developed by the contemporary artist Oliver Herring.

​Step 1: Create a task.
Tasks are literally anything that someone at the party could do, from "make up a secret handshake" to "give an impromptu TED talk" to "start a revolution."

​Step 2: Pick a task.
Carry it out with the help of simple materials and other guests at the party. Do it confident! Do it scared! Take it seriously! Don't take it seriously! It's all good.

​Step 3: Celebrate, stick, repeat.
Celebrate the task you did! If it's tangible, display it somewhere for others to witness and celebrate. Keep going.
