Gypsy Dinner Experience
The Gypsy Dinner Experience
Gypsy Dinners are an invitation to gather differently.
Rooted in the culinary traditions of Anatolia and the Mediterranean, this experience reimagines familiar flavours through a modern, borderless lens. Everything is designed to be shared — not just the food, but the space, the rhythm of the night, the wine pairing, and the conversations that unfold around the table.
At the heart of the evening is a long, ground-level communal table, where everyone sits together. There is no hierarchy, no separation — just a shared moment, unfolding slowly.
This is not a regular dinner.
It’s a shared cultural ritual around the table.
A shared table.
A borderless feast.
A night that belongs to the moment.
The Dinner Format
The evening unfolds in two acts, served family-style:
Act I — Cold Plates
A generous selection of cold dishes placed at the centre of the table, encouraging tasting, passing, and discovering together.
Act II — Warm Dishes
A sequence of warm plates, served in waves, deepening flavours and conversation.
The experience closes with a sweet ending, marking the circle before the night gently dissolves.
All dishes are designed for sharing and made with fresh, seasonal ingredients, with vegetarian and vegan options thoughtfully integrated throughout the menu.

The Chef Ugur Yalcin
Gypsy is led by Ugur and Ozgun, whose paths first crossed at the Culinary Arts Academy of Istanbul during the pandemic.
Ugur, project lead, brings a background spanning law, business and hospitality, with professional experience in both Istanbul and Lisbon.
Ozgun, head chef, grew up in Adana — one of the heartlands of Anatolian cuisine — and refined his craft through classical French techniques and contemporary Anatolian kitchens, including several years as Head Chef at Ahali in Istanbul.
Their collaboration is grounded in tradition, curiosity, and a shared belief that food is a powerful connector. Ugur is going to be sitting with us at the table and guiding us through this culinary experience.
