AI House Founder Mental Health Affinity Group Meetup - The Addiction Patterns of High-Performers
Being a product founder, especially in the AI and tech space, comes with unique pressures: intense decision-making, constant context-switching, emotional isolation, and the invisible weight of carrying vision, team, and capital all at once.
November 10 Topic: The Addiction Patterns of High-Performers - “Work, dopamine, alcohol, optimization, where’s the edge?”
Focus on:
Stimulants & productivity culture: How the drive to perform can push high-achievers toward risky substances or routines to stay “on.”
Biohacking extremes: The temptation to optimize every aspect of body and brain, sometimes at the cost of balance.
Escapism patterns: When overwork, tech, or substances become ways to avoid stress, uncertainty, or emotional discomfort.
Curiosity over judgment: Framing these patterns as something to notice and understand—not shame—so founders can make more conscious choices.Who it's for:
This meetup is a space for tech founders to drop the pitch, remove the pressure, and connect on a human level.
