Comics Critique Crew
Comics creators of all stripes are invited to a collaborative critique of in-progress work. At this monthly event, 3 creators will present their work for feedback and commentary from a group of their peers.
Comic artists are welcome regardless of whether they are interested in having their work discussed! This event is intended to build a more connected comics community. 💜
To be considered for critique, please submit your request in this form by February 12th, and you will be contacted by the event organizers directly. Those who are selected will be notified on February 13th.
Work submitted may be at any stage of development, including script, thumbnails, pencils, inks, or even final art.
Chosen pieces will be distributed to attendees in advance of the event, and attendees will be expected to have read and prepared notes for all of the pieces being presented.
Attendees who are providing feedback are encouraged to deliver it in a compassionate, clear way and to come at their notes from a place of genuine support and curiosity.
The goal of this crit group is to provide creators with feedback that can help them achieve their ideal vision for the in-progress work, and not to tear them down arbitrarily. We are all coming to this group to learn from one another and grow as comics creators, and should assume other attendees have that same intention.

Our new studio is just around the corner at 21-07 41st Avenue. When you get to the building, please open your phone, scan the QR code pasted on the door, and find The Collaboratory in the directory to be buzzed in.
Once inside, you can take the elevator to Floor 2 and find us in Studio #213.
MASK REMINDER
The Collaboratory is a *Masks Required* space. 😷 We also run two air filters/purifiers during our gatherings. If you don't arrive with a mask, don't worry—we'll have them available at the door.

REFUND POLICY
At this time the QNSC is unable to issue refunds except on a case by case basis. If you are unable to attend an event for which you have purchased a ticket, tickets can be transferred to another person at the buyer's arrangement.
