Rain Guardians Chinatown Planting Event

​Become a “Rain Guardian” in your watershed - Join us for a garden volunteer day in Chinatown!

​Enjoy coffee and light snacks as we plant and steward the rain gardens. Tools and plants are provided!

​If you want to adopt a rain garden, come learn more and you can take home a set of tools!

​About the Rain Guardians program:

​The SFPUC Rain Guardians program enables San Francisco community members to adopt a rain garden across the city and help keep it free from trash and debris. This supports our maintenance crew who makes quarterly visits to each rain garden site. These sustainable stormwater management facilities are working hard to soak up rainwater during storms, helping to protect our city and surrounding waterways. Joining the Rain Guardians community is a great way to do your part in contributing to a sustainable future for our city.
