Speaker Bios:
Camila Russo is the Founder of The Defiant, a media company focusing on decentralized finance, and the author of The Infinite Machine, the most read book on the history of Ethereum. Previously, she was a markets and crypto reporter at Bloomberg News based in New York, Madrid and Buenos Aires. She has an MSc in Journalism from Northwestern University and is originally from Santiago, Chile.
Sid Powell is the CEO and Co-Founder of Maple, the leading onchain asset manager for institutional credit. With a background in debt capital markets and structured lending, Sid co-founded Maple in 2019 to build the rails for institutional lending on-chain. Prior to Maple, Sid worked on over $3 billion in corporate bond issuance and served as Treasurer at an Australian commercial lender. Today, Maple has originated over $20 billion in loans and currently manages $4b in assets across lending, structured products, and yield strategies. The firm’s mission is to make institutional-grade yield accessible globally while enabling borrowers to access capital with greater speed, transparency, and efficiency than ever before.
Conor Moore is Co-Founder and COO at USD.AI. Before building at the frontier of onchain credit, Conor spent his career in the deepest parts of traditional structured finance, deploying $5 billion in real estate and infrastructure investments at Rockpoint Group and structuring complex transactions at Wells Fargo Securities and Eastdil Secured. He brought that TradFi credit expertise onchain to found USD.AI, a yield-bearing synthetic dollar backed by loans against AI hardware assets, with over $1.2 billion in approved facilities and a Series A backed by Framework Ventures and Dragonfly. It's one of the most compelling cases for what real-world asset yield looks like when built natively onchain from day one.
Dr. Lisa Cameron was an MP in the UK Parliament from 2015-2024. During this time, she chaired the House of Commons first Cryptocurrency & Digital Assets All Party Parliamentary Group and developed a program of education for MPs and Lords to learn about emerging technologies. Greengage in their 2024 publication Digital Parliamentarians named Dr Cameron as the MP who had raised cryptocurrency and digital assets more than any other parliamentarian. Since stepping down from Parliament, Dr Cameron has become Chair of the Digital Assets Global Forum and founded the UKUS Crypto Alliance, continuing her work in the sector on regulation and global policy making. In 2025, Dr Cameron was named Outstanding Industry Influencer of the Year at the Digital Commonwealth Awards,
Scotte Moegling is the Global Head of Business Development for Digital Assets at Virtu Financial. Virtu (NYSE: VIRTU) is a global, publicly listed proprietary market maker across multiple asset classes, including global equities, ETFs, foreign exchange, futures, fixed income, commodities, and cryptocurrencies. Prior to his role at Virtu, Scotte held executive level roles at Citibank in FX electronic trading and prime brokerage, as well as at Flow Traders where he oversaw their OTC initiatives in FX, Precious Metals, CFDs, and Crypto.
