See It to Believe It: AI Filmmaking in Action with Nisha Burton
Curious about what AI filmmaking actually looks like in practice in the hands of a filmmaker?
In this one-hour session, Southern Oregon filmmaker and creative technologist Nisha Burton pulls back the curtain on her own AI-assisted creative process, walking you through real projects she's made using Midjourney and Higgsfield AI. You'll see finished work, hear the story behind it, and get an honest look at how these tools fit into an actual filmmaking workflow - what works, what doesn't, and why it's more creative than you might expect.
This isn't about replacing filmmaking. It's about what becomes possible when you add these tools to your existing skills.
You'll walk away with:
A clear picture of what AI filmmaking looks like in real creative practice
An understanding of how Midjourney and Higgsfield AI work and what each does best
Honest insight into the process - the prompts, the iterations, and the decisions behind the work
Inspiration and a starting point for exploring these tools yourself
This talk is for you if you are:
A filmmaker wondering what AI tools are actually capable of
A creative professional curious about generative AI but not sure where to start
Someone who learns best by seeing real examples rather than reading about features
Anyone who wants an honest, practitioner's perspective on AI and creativity
