Pollinator Party
โThis Earth Month, join us at Shark Garden to give back! ๐ฆ๐๐๐๐ฆ๐ธ๐ชด๐
โShark Gardenโs mission is to โeducate all people on the importance of growing food, model responsible environmental stewardship, enhance connections, and maintain sustainable and inclusive green space.โ ๐ก
โWeโll start the afternoon with a tour of the community garden, followed by a learning session and demonstration of soil health testing. Then, weโll roll up our sleeves and begin construction of a new display bed for shade loving pollinator plants!ย
โYou will:
โLearn about gardening and soil health ๐ชด
โLearn how pollinator plants are connected to our food ๐ฆ
โLearn how to test your own soil ๐ฑ
โLearn how you can attract pollinators in your own home! ๐
โGain hands-on experience in building a bed for pollinator plants ๐ก
โโWhen: April 3rd, 1-3pm
