Climate Game: Entertainment with Purpose

​Event Description

​For most people, taking climate action seriously sometimes would be exhausting. Instead of asking people to do more, is there any potential that we could combine the positive climate purposes with entertainment activities that they are already actively engaged with?

​The game night will be a cozy, relaxing session with 100 people where climate stakeholders gather to play Texas Hold ' Em and talk about climate topics. In the game night session, we will host a Texas Poker Tournament Session, where 10% of each ticket sale will be used to support Financial Ecosystem for Systemic Transformation(FEST) for systemic changes.

​Sparkling water will be provided. Please finish your dinner beforehand so we can keep the space clean.

​Also, please purchase the ticket on the event calendar. For any “at-door ticket purchase”, we will charge 200USD/ticket for climate stakeholders, and 1000USD/ticket for non-climate stakeholders. In addition, we retain all rights to the venue entry for any at-door ticket purchase.

​Friendly People: Meet climate people and play poker while exploring the latest climate trends.

​The session creates a relaxing space for people to connect with others and enjoy the fun games. No matter whether you are a founder, investor, operator, builder, VC scout, or others, we welcome all people who are friendly to others.

​Game Rules

​Format: A tournament that limits the total loss for each participant

​Table: 5 Tables for the start(10 Tables is the limit)

​Prize: 1500USD(Top Prize), 1000USD(2nd Prize), 500USD(3rd Prize)

​Lottery: If the number of participants exceeds 50, a lucky draw will be held to select 10 attendees who help reset the venue when the session ends, with 100USD/person.

​Donation: 10% of the ticket sales to Financial Ecosystem for Systemic Transformation(FEST) for systemic changes.

​Expected Outcomes

​✅ Support SF ecotourism/citizen science organizations with ticket sales donations

​✅ Mingle with other climate stakeholders after the intense climate week activities.
