🥢 我们活在两者之间, 我们生长于缝隙中。

We live in the both-and.
The neither-here-nor-there.
The improvised in-between.

We want to share an experience, that invites participants to taste a menu that embodies two truths at once:

  • The foods we grew up with — what feels like “home.”

  • The foods we’ve grown to love — through migration, friends, lovers, chosen family, exploration.

Instead of a cultural fusion, we want to explore emotional fusion — how we carry multiple selves across languages, countries, and kitchens.

我们活在“既是又是”,也活在“非此非彼”。
我们带着多重的舌头与记忆,在迁徙、语言、爱人、家庭之间, 学会调味,也学会生存。

This evening is an invitation to taste who we are becoming.
这一晚,我们邀请你,用味觉触碰正在生成的自我。


🍽️ The Menu 菜单

For this night only, @kamu_siapa_kitchen has created an entirely new, never-before-served menu: a series of playful, tender, hybrid dishes that blend emotional memory with culinary experimentation.

Created exclusively for this event, this menu draws from Chinese, Southeast Asian, Latin, and North American influences — layered with personal stories, migration histories, and moments of joy, grief, and reinvention.


仅为这一夜,@kamu_siapa_kitchen 特别创作了一份全新的、前所未有的菜单:一系列在情感记忆与料理实验之间自由游走的混合料理,

这份菜单为本次活动独家定制,在传统与即兴之间流动,带有东南亚、中式与拉丁美洲饮食的线索,是一份属于移民之身、情感混血的味觉练习。

Selected dishes include:

  • 火龙果荔枝青柠腌汁干贝(Scallop crudo with dragonfruit-lychee aguachile)

  • 咸蛋黄酱披萨配鱼松与肉松(Salted duck egg yolk pizza with fish & pork rousong)

  • 三杯风味手撕猪配焦糖鱼露美乃滋(“San Bei Zhu” pulled pork with caramelized fish sauce mayo)

  • 黑蒜曲菌芥兰(Black garlic koji Gai Lan)


🌀 Activities 活动:Creating Your Own Hybrid Dish


Food is a language of memory. Each of us carries overlapping cultures, tongues, and tastes—and in this activity, we become the chef of our own identity.

You don’t need to know how to cook — but you surely remember a taste that represents who you are.
In this small, intimate activity, we invite you to write it, draw it, or collage it
through our prompt and guide, we will together turn your identity and your taste into your very own little zine.

食物是记忆的语言。每个人都是一道混合料理的创造者。
你可以不懂做菜,但你一定记得某个味道,代表你是谁。
在这个小小的互动中,我们邀请你写下它、画出来、拼贴它——
将属于你的身份与味觉,变成一本你自己的小Zine。
